Recorded the fall of 1962, Diamonds also introduced an 18 year old Jimmy Page into professional recording. Written by Jerry Lordon, who also composed Apache, Wonderful Land, Atlantis, and other instrumental hits for The Shadows, Diamonds was rated in the top twenty of all-time rock intrumentals by Guitar Player magazine and it certainly is! Jet Harris actually wrote back to me when I wrote to him more than once! Classy man in my opinion.

I remeber this commerical. Have not seen it in over 50 years, so it sounds a bit different but still dig it.
